Manacor is Mallorca’s second-largest city and the commercial and cultural capital of the island’s interior. Palma Airport, the island’s main international hub, handles direct flights to most major European cities and operates year-round connections to Madrid and Barcelona. The eastern coast’s road network is well maintained, making the broader municipality practical for daily use while remaining well removed from the tourist density of the southwest.
