Wunderschöne Villa Mit Meerblick In Megas Gialos — Syros Island Retreat

This villa is located on the site ”Megas Gialos” in the southern side of the Greek island of Cyclades, Syros. The largest town Hermoupolis is the capital of the island and of the Cyclades as well (8 km from the Villa). Hermoupolis stands on a naturally amphitheatrical site, with old mansions and white houses cascading down the harbor. It is a town with combined Venetian, Cycladic and neoclassical architecture.

The island has an excellent tourist infrastructure. Apart from beautiful beaches and turquoise waters, the island offers a wide variety of facilities for accommodation, dining, entertainment and relaxation with breadth at restaurant bars as well as plenty of sports facilities and cultural venues. It also has a good road network and a big hospital with a range of departments and specialist units. Hermoupolis is the main port of the island, connected daily with the ports of Piraeus (3.5 hrs from Piraeus), Rafina, Cyclades, and the North Aegean Sea.

The island’s airport is situated at a distance of 5 km from the Villa and offers direct flights to Athens and Thessaloniki.

The Villa was built in 2004 on a plot of 1,500 m² using the best building materials, such as stairs from Dionysus marble, floors from Karystos stone, and fences from the land itself. From the same stone, a wall was made in the living room. The villa was designed ecologically and is surrounded by gardens full of flowers and trees. These are watered by automatic droppers and sprinklers, with water collected from rain in a cistern.

The villa is approximately 250 m² and consists of 3 floors:

Ground floor: spacious living room, dining area, fireplace, modern fitted kitchen, and bathroom.

First floor: 3 bedrooms, a large balcony, and a bathroom with a big round bathtub.

All bedrooms and corridors have large wardrobes. Rooms on these two floors offer beautiful sea views from large windows and balcony doors.

The villa offers 4 balconies with views of the magical gulf of Mega Gialos.

The villa is equipped with autonomous heating and air-conditioning in every room and floor.

Windows are double-glazed and doors are made from eco-processed wood. The home offers excellent insulation and is painted with eco-friendly wall paints.

There is parking space for two cars located in the yard.

The main entrance is a solid iron gate, which can be opened either manually or automatically.
