It’s a Sunday in late spring. Lunch is on the decking under the pergola, the irrigation ran at dawn so the lawn is already green, and the only sound from the street is a neighbour turning in at the end of the cul-de-sac. Lagos is eight minutes away. Today it can wait.

This is the end house of a quiet row in Sargaçal, the residential village just north of Lagos that is lived in all year round. Built in 2009 and renovated since, it gives you four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a closed garage and a private garden over two floors.
