Finca Sant Josep De Sa Talaia

Sant Josep de sa Talaia is the largest municipality in Ibiza by area, covering the island’s southwestern quarter and encompassing some of its most sought-after terrain. The area is defined by rolling pine-covered hills, agricultural land, and elevated positions that command views across the sea toward Formentera. It has long attracted buyers who want space and privacy without sacrificing access to the island’s best coastline and infrastructure. The municipality carries a distinctly rural character that sets it apart from the more developed north.

The village of Sant Josep itself has a whitewashed church, a handful of good restaurants including Es Boldado for clifftop dining, and a weekly market. Cala Vedella, Cala Tarida, and Cala Conta are among the finest beaches on the island, all within a short drive. Ibiza Town is approximately 15 minutes by car.

Ibiza Airport sits within the municipality of Sant Josep, placing it roughly 10 to 15 minutes from most parts of the area, a practical advantage that few locations on the island can match. The airport operates year-round with direct connections to major European cities, and seasonal routes expand significantly from April through October. Ferry services from Ibiza Town connect to Barcelona, Valencia, and Palma de Mallorca, with crossings taking between two and a half and eight hours depending on the service.
