Sant Jordi de ses Salines is a quietly distinguished village in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, sitting on the flat agricultural plain that stretches between Ibiza Town and the southern salt flats. The area retains a genuinely local character, with whitewashed farmhouses, working olive groves, and the kind of unhurried pace that has largely disappeared from the island’s more tourist-facing zones. It occupies a rare position: close to the capital yet removed from its intensity.

The village has its own church square, a handful of local bars, and a weekly market. Platja d’en Bossa is roughly five minutes by car. Ibiza Town’s restaurants, marina, and Dalt Vila are under ten minutes. The salt flats of Ses Salines, a protected natural park, are within a short drive to the south.

Ibiza Airport is approximately four kilometres from Sant Jordi, making this one of the most practically connected locations on the island. Ibiza Town is reachable in under ten minutes by car. Regular bus services link the village to the capital. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections from April through October.
