A group of 17th-century rural edifices with eight hectares of grounds, tucked away in France’s unspoilt Perche nature park, 150 kilometres from Paris. The property lies at the end of a tree-lined lane, in a commanding position on a wooded hillside. The five buildings that make up the group of rural edifices are arranged around a former court. Together, they form a hamlet-like collection of 17th-century buildings. Each of these edifices has been fully renovated. The elevations are coated with a regional sand-based rendering and are punctuated with windows set in surrounds of white stone. The buildings are crowned with gabled roofs of flat tiles.
