Port d’Andratx occupies the southwestern tip of Mallorca, where the Serra de Tramuntana mountains meet the sea, and has long held a reputation as the island’s most prestigious marina address. Unlike the resort-heavy northeast, this former fishing village has retained its working harbour character while attracting a discreet international ownership base. The absence of large hotels has kept the scale intimate, and the property stock is dominated by high-value villas and apartments with direct water or harbour exposure.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 40 kilometres from Port d’Andratx, reachable in around 35 to 40 minutes by car via the Ma-1. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities year-round, with frequency increasing significantly between April and October. There is no rail connection to this part of the island, so a car is essential. Palma city centre is a 30 to 35 minute drive under normal traffic conditions.
