Pollença sits at the northern tip of Mallorca, framed by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and the calm waters of the Bay of Pollença. It is one of the island’s most culturally intact towns, with a Roman bridge, a medieval parish church, and a famous 365-step Calvari staircase that defines the town’s skyline. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres south, reachable in under an hour by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times of two to three hours to London, Paris, and Frankfurt. The airport is roughly one hour from Pollença by car. There is no rail connection to the north of the island, so a car is essential for residents.
