Haus, Pierrevert

Pierrevert is a small hilltop village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, positioned between the Luberon and the Verdon, at an elevation that gives it commanding views over lavender fields, vineyards, and the Durance valley. It belongs to the Pays de Forcalquier, a part of upper Provence that has retained its agricultural character and unhurried pace. The village is best known for its AOC wine production, one of the smallest appellations in France, which gives the surrounding landscape its distinctive patchwork of vines.

The weekly market in Manosque, eight kilometres away, covers daily provisions. Manosque also offers supermarkets, pharmacies, and a hospital. The medieval town of Forcalquier, with its Monday market and established restaurant scene, is fifteen minutes by car. Aix-en-Provence is accessible in under an hour for high-end dining, galleries, and cultural events.

Manosque-Gréoux-les-Bains TGV station connects to Marseille in approximately forty minutes and to Paris Gare de Lyon in around three hours. Marseille Provence Airport is roughly seventy kilometres away, a journey of about fifty-five minutes by car, with direct flights to major European cities. The A51 motorway, accessible near Manosque, links the area efficiently to Aix-en-Provence and the broader Mediterranean corridor.
