Eigentumswohnung In Newport

Own a piece of Newport’s Gilded Age. Ocean Manor was designed in 1858 by noted Newport architect George Champlin Mason as an Italianate summer residence for David King. Later known as Mount Aerie, the house hosted a young Eleanor Roosevelt in the summer of 1903 during her first season as a debutante. Today the estate house is an intimate condominium association, set back from the street and surrounded by mature plantings. Unit M7 is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath residence offering 1,174 square feet and a large private deck overlooking the grounds. The unit needs major updating throughout, giving the next owner the chance to design a kitchen, bath, and finishes to their own taste. Kings Park, the harbor, the New York Yacht Club, and Ida Lewis Yacht Club are close by.
