Sereno is positioned on a hillside overlooking the Aegean, with uninterrupted views that stretch across the water toward the surrounding coastline and neighbouring islands. Built in the Cycladic architectural tradition, the residence combines whitewashed volumes, curved forms, and natural stone walls that step gradually down the terrain, allowing the property to sit naturally within the landscape. From sunrise through to evening, the changing light remains central to the experience of the house, with coastal lights beginning to appear softly across the bay after dusk.

Arranged across three levels and spanning 600 sqm, the villa has been designed to accommodate both large-scale entertaining and quieter periods of retreat. Interiors follow a restrained palette of pale stone flooring, white surfaces, and carefully framed openings that keep the sea constantly visible throughout the principal spaces. The atmosphere remains calm and architectural rather than decorative, with the proportions of the rooms and the movement of natural light giving the interiors their character.

The upper level contains the main living and dining areas alongside a fully equipped kitchen, all opening directly onto expansive terraces overlooking the pool and sea beyond. Large sliding openings create continuous indoor-outdoor flow, while shaded dining spaces and covered seating terraces extend daily living outside for much of the year. A long dining table positioned above the coastline becomes particularly striking in the evening light, with the horizon remaining visible well after sunset.

The middle level comprises five en-suite bedrooms together with a private home cinema, while the lower level contains an additional guest bedroom, staff accommodation, auxiliary spaces, and a steam room with direct access to the pool terrace. Several bedrooms open onto private terraces or balconies facing the sea, while others are oriented toward sheltered garden areas built into the hillside. Throughout the house, the materials remain intentionally understated, allowing the architecture and views to take precedence.

Outdoor living forms the core of the property. An infinity pool runs directly toward the horizon line, bordered by broad terraces designed for sun exposure, shaded lounging, and evening dining. A fully equipped outdoor kitchen, bar area, and multiple seating terraces allow different parts of the exterior to function independently throughout the day. The terraced configuration of the house also creates a notable sense of privacy despite the openness of the views.

Sereno balances the scale required for hosting with the simplicity of Cycladic living. The house remains visually quiet despite its size, using proportion, orientation, and natural materials to maintain a strong connection to the landscape and sea surrounding it.
