19th-century architecture, this discreet building in the Vauban district houses a 119 m² duplex on its 2nd floor, marked by a poetic reinterpretation.
 
 
Redeveloped in 2021 by the architectural firm Un jour d’avril , this project reveals the luminous soul of the place and its sensitive atmosphere. The heart of the project: a majestic and swirling pink marble staircase, which crosses the space like a narrative thread. Both massive and curved, it structures the volume and subtly dialogues with the original elements of the building: cement tiles, restored woodwork, iconic light fixtures suspended in the stairwell.
On the first level, the sleeping area unfolds in an intimate atmosphere: a large suite with its bathroom integrated with graphic cement tiles, then a second bedroom completes this level as well as a discreet office and a functional laundry room. Upstairs, the spaces open onto a large, light-filled space, accentuated by panoramic wallpaper and a fluid flow between two living rooms. The kitchen features a blue wall with masonry niches and a central island.
A third bedroom, set back, offers an ideal space for entertaining or working in peace.
A large cellar completes this property.
