The Golden Mile is the stretch of coastline running between Marbella and Puerto Banús, long established as the most prestigious residential address on the Costa del Sol. The area takes its name from the concentration of grand villas, private estates, and luxury hotels that line this corridor, including the historic Marbella Club. Nagüeles, the hillside enclave rising above the coastal strip, offers elevated positions with sea views and a quieter residential character while remaining within minutes of the shore.

The Marbella Club Hotel and its beach club are a short drive down the hill. Puerto Banús, with its marina, restaurants, and boutiques, is roughly five minutes by car. Marbella’s old town, with its Plaza de los Naranjos and established restaurant scene, is around ten minutes east. The Golden Mile itself has several beachfront restaurants accessible without entering the town centre.

Marbella is served by the AP-7 and A-7 coastal highways, connecting directly to Málaga in approximately 45 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport handles direct routes to most major European cities and is the primary international gateway for the area. Gibraltar Airport, roughly 75 kilometres west, offers an alternative entry point with connections to the United Kingdom.
