Puerto Banús sits at the western edge of Marbella, defined by its internationally recognised marina and the dense concentration of high-end retail, dining, and nightlife that surrounds it. Nueva Andalucía, the residential area immediately behind the port, offers a quieter residential setting while remaining within walking distance of the waterfront. The area is characterised by contemporary villas and low-rise developments set along quiet streets, with the Sierra Blanca mountains providing a clear backdrop to the north.

The marina promenade hosts restaurants including Nobu Marbella and Cipriani, alongside the designer boutiques of the port itself. Mercadona and El Corte Inglés are within a short drive. Playa de Puerto Banús is walkable. The Casino Nueva Andalucía and several golf courses, including Las Brisas and Aloha, are within five minutes by car.

Marbella town centre is approximately 7 kilometres east, around 10 minutes by car. Málaga Airport, the main international gateway for the Costa del Sol, is roughly 65 kilometres away and reachable in under an hour on the AP-7 motorway. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities and several long-haul destinations. Gibraltar Airport is approximately 75 kilometres to the west, offering an alternative entry point for travellers from the UK.
