Mandelieu-la-Napoule occupies a privileged position on the western edge of the French Riviera, where the Esterel massif meets the sea between Cannes and Théoule-sur-Mer. The town divides into two distinct characters: the marina and beach resort of La Napoule at sea level, and the hillside residential areas above, where Provençal villas command wide views across the Golfe de la Napoule toward the Lérins Islands. It is a quieter, more residential alternative to Cannes, with a loyal international ownership base.

A local rail stop at La Napoule-Plage provides regular services along the coast toward Nice and Marseille. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, the second busiest in France with direct routes across Europe and beyond, is approximately 30 kilometres east, typically 30 to 40 minutes by road depending on traffic.
