Manacor is Mallorca’s second-largest city and the commercial and cultural capital of the island’s interior, set among almond groves and limestone hills roughly 50 kilometres east of Palma. It carries a distinct identity rooted in craft production, most notably the pearl manufacturing tradition associated with the Majorica brand, and a working Mallorcan character that sets it apart from the coastal resort towns. Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 55 kilometres from Manacor, reachable in around 45 to 50 minutes by car via the Ma-15 motorway. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections during the summer season. Palma itself is accessible in under an hour by car, providing access to the island’s full range of commercial, cultural, and transport infrastructure.
