Maó, the capital of Menorca, sits above one of the deepest natural harbours in the Mediterranean, a waterway that has shaped the city’s identity for centuries. Barcelona is served by flights of roughly 50 minutes and by ferry connections from the port, with crossings taking between 6 and 8 hours depending on the service. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 45 minutes by air.
