Nestled on the south slope of a hill, at the outskirts of an authentic portuguese village in the ”Serra Algarvia” we found this unique property, the perfect place for someone looking for a touristic business in the Algarve. 
The property was bought by its present owner about 20 years ago. The property is composed of a Manor House with several annexes. The owner has put a lot of effort into carefully restoring the property to its former glory, so the old wooden doors, windows and ceilings have been meticulously restored and preserved for future generations. 
The main house is composed of a large hall way,  with the original stucco walls, a study, a library/sitting room, a large bedroom, a smaller bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom with bath and shower and there is also a separate guest wc in the main house. The kitchen has a dining area and there is air conditioning and also a wood burning fire place. Next to the kitchen there is another sitting room with a fire place and air conditioning, ideal for the cooler winter evenings. On the first floor there is a large bedroom & bathroom with sitting room, here there is air conditioning and also a fire place. There is access to a terrace overlooking the country side with the sea in the distance. The owner has tried to keep as many original details as possible, the result is really stunning.
The cottages, which could be rented out to guests, are located in the old annexes of the property. The style of the cottages is very rustic with cane ceilings with wooden beams and santa catarina terra cotta tiled floors. Some of the cottages are inter linked, so they can be rented out to larger groups and/or families. When all parts are linked the accommodation configuration is as follows: 1x yoga/gym room, 1x studio apartment, 2x one bedroom apartment, 1x two bedroom apartment. So in total four units to rent out. It is possible to create more accommodation, by changing the configuration & use of the cottages. Of course one could also decide to include accommodation in the main house in the rental scheme.

All guest accommodation has central heating from radiators (diesel). There is mains electricity and water from the ”fonte” or well.  The well produces 2.100 litres of best drinking water every day. It comes from a mine, 56 metres deep in the mountain. A constant stream of water runs through the property and its terraced grounds providing a calming atmosphere with the sound of running water.  It is possible to live in the main house and rent out the cottages or to turn the whole place into a small boutique hotel. The property is located at about 15 minutes’ drive from Loulé in Central Algarve.
