Sant Antoni de Portmany sits on the western coast of Ibiza, facing directly into the Mediterranean sunset that has made this bay one of the most recognisable in the Balearics. The town has a dual identity: a working port with a genuine local community and a long-established international reputation built around its waterfront cafes, beach clubs, and the Sunset Strip. The surrounding countryside retains traditional Ibizan character, with dry-stone walls, almond groves, and whitewashed fincas on the hillsides above the bay.

The Sunset Strip along the Passeig de ses Fonts is the social spine of the area, with Cafe del Mar and Cafe Mambo drawing crowds each evening. Cala Bassa and Cala Conta beaches are within ten minutes by car. Pikes Hotel, a long-standing cultural landmark, is a short drive inland. The weekly market at Punta Arabí is accessible within twenty minutes.

Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is approximately 14 kilometres from Sant Antoni, a drive of around 20 minutes. The airport operates year-round scheduled services to Madrid, Barcelona, London, and other major European cities, with significantly expanded routes from April through October. Regular bus services connect Sant Antoni to Ibiza Town, a journey of roughly 30 minutes. Ferry connections from Ibiza Town reach Formentera, Valencia, and Barcelona.
