Grimaud is a medieval hilltop village in the Var department, positioned at the western edge of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Its lower extension, Port Grimaud, is a purpose-built waterfront quarter often called the Venice of Provence, with private moorings and direct gulf access.

Saint-Tropez itself is approximately 15 minutes by car, giving access to its market on Place des Lices and the full range of its restaurants and boutiques.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is approximately 100 kilometres east, around 90 minutes by car, and serves an extensive international network. The TGV station at Les Arcs-Draguignan, about 25 kilometres north, provides high-speed rail links to Paris in under four hours and connects to Marseille in under one hour.
