Èze occupies one of the most dramatic positions on the Côte d’Azur, a medieval perched village rising to 427 metres above the Mediterranean between Nice and Monaco. The historic village core, classified among France’s most beautiful villages, is a dense labyrinth of stone lanes, vaulted passages, and terraced gardens that culminate in the ruins of a 14th-century castle. The lower residential areas offer sea views of exceptional depth, looking out across the Ligurian coast toward the Italian border.

The village itself has the Château Eza restaurant and the Troubadour for dining. The Jardin Exotique at the summit is a short walk from the old village. Eze-sur-Mer, the coastal district, is a ten-minute drive down and has direct beach access, a small marina, and a train station on the Nice-Ventimiglia line.

Eze sits on the Grande Corniche, placing Monaco approximately 12 kilometres to the east, reachable in around 20 minutes by car. Nice, with its international airport serving direct routes across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, is 12 kilometres to the west, roughly 20 to 25 minutes by road. The A8 motorway is accessible via La Turbie, connecting to Cannes in under an hour.
