A vast, 17th-century townhouse with a view of the medieval church, 1 hour from Paris, in the town centre of Chaumont-en-Vexin. This townhouse is among the largest historical residences in Chaumont and is located in the town centre, near to the town hall and at the foot of the hill on which the church is built. It was built in the second half of the 17th century and from its beginnings it was the residence of people of note, especially members of the clergy from the nearby church. The classically styled façade overlooking the street boasts eight openings spread over two storeys. There is also an attic level with hipped dormer windows in the building’s slate roof.
