Villa Castillo De La Duquesa

Castillo de la Duquesa is a well-established residential enclave within the municipality of Manilva, positioned on the western edge of the Costa del Sol where the coastline begins its turn toward Gibraltar. The area takes its name from the 18th-century Roman-era fort that anchors the nearby fishing village of La Duquesa, giving the enclave a sense of historical grounding that distinguishes it from the more densely developed stretches further east toward Marbella. The setting is relatively low-density, with open sea views toward Morocco on clear days.

The beach at La Duquesa is approximately 600 metres away on foot. Puerto de la Duquesa, a working marina with restaurants including El Capricho and La Farola, is a five-minute drive. Estepona town centre, with its covered market, pedestrianised old town, and broader retail offer, is around ten minutes by car.

Estepona is the nearest significant town, roughly 12 kilometres east via the A-7 coastal road. Marbella is approximately 35 kilometres away, reachable in under 30 minutes outside peak season. Malaga Airport, the main international hub for the Costa del Sol, is around 90 kilometres from Castillo de la Duquesa, typically a 60 to 75 minute drive. Gibraltar Airport is closer at roughly 25 kilometres, offering additional connections to the UK.
