Carqueiranne is a small coastal commune on the Gapeau peninsula, between Hyères and La Seyne-sur-Mer, where the Var coastline retains a character that larger resorts have long since lost. The village centre, with its Romanesque church and shaded place, sits just above a working harbour and a sequence of sandy coves. The scale is intimate, the architecture predominantly Provençal, and the pace is set by the sea rather than by tourism infrastructure.

The harbour area has a handful of restaurants serving fresh catch, and the weekly market covers local produce and regional goods. The beaches at La Garonne and Les Salettes are within easy reach on foot. Hyères, with its larger commercial offer, covered market, and old town, is approximately 8 kilometres away by car.

Toulon-Hyères Airport is roughly 15 kilometres from Carqueiranne, with direct connections to Paris and several European cities. Hyères train station provides TGV-linked services via Toulon, which is around 20 kilometres west and connects to Marseille in under 40 minutes and to Paris in approximately three and a half hours. The A57 motorway gives straightforward road access to the wider Var and the Côte d’Azur corridor.
