Vallauris sits in the hills above the Côte d’Azur between Cannes and Antibes, a town shaped by centuries of ceramics tradition and given international prominence when Pablo Picasso worked and exhibited here in the early 1950s. Cannes, with its full range of dining, the Forville market, and the Croisette, is roughly ten minutes away. Antibes and Juan-les-Pins are equally close in the other direction.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres away, reachable in around 30 minutes by car under normal conditions, with direct services to most major European cities and intercontinental connections. Cannes train station provides regular TGV services to Paris in roughly five and a half hours, and regional rail links run along the coast to Nice, Monaco, and Menton.
