Calvia is one of the most sought-after municipalities in Mallorca, occupying the southwest corner of the island and encompassing a stretch of coastline that includes some of the Balearics’ most prestigious addresses. The historic town of Calvia itself sits inland, surrounded by the Tramuntana foothills, offering a quieter, more authentically Mallorcan character than the coastal resorts below. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 20 kilometres from Calvia town, reachable in around 25 minutes by car via the Ma-1020. Palma Airport, one of the busiest in Spain, is roughly 25 kilometres away and handles direct flights to most major European cities year-round, with significantly expanded routes from April through October. Ferry connections from Palma link the island to Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza.
