Capdepera occupies the northeastern tip of Mallorca, defined by its medieval hilltop castle, rugged coastline, and a pace of life that has remained largely unchanged despite the island’s broader development. The municipality encompasses Cala Rajada, the main coastal hub, along with a series of coves including Cala Agulla, Cala Mesquida, and Cala Torta. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 75 kilometres from Capdepera, reached in around one hour by car via the Ma-15. Palma Airport, the island’s main international gateway, handles direct routes to most major European cities and is roughly 80 kilometres away, approximately one hour by road. There is no rail connection to this part of the island, making a car essential for daily life.
