Cabris is a medieval hilltop village in the Alpes-Maritimes, sitting at roughly 550 metres above sea level on the edge of the Grasse pre-Alps. The village is compact and largely unchanged in its stone architecture, with a ruined château, a Romanesque church, and a terrace that looks south across the Siagne valley toward the Esterel massif and, on clear days, the Mediterranean coastline. It has long attracted artists and writers drawn by the quality of its light and its remove from the coastal bustle.

The village has a small weekly market, a handful of restaurants including the well-regarded Auberge de Cabris, and independent shops along its central lanes. Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, is approximately 6 kilometres away and provides full daily services, supermarkets, schools, and medical facilities within a 10-minute drive.

Cannes is around 25 kilometres from Cabris, reachable in approximately 30 to 35 minutes by car via the D9 and A8. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 40 kilometres to the east, with a typical drive time of 45 to 55 minutes depending on traffic. There is no direct rail connection from Cabris itself; the nearest SNCF stations are at Grasse and Cannes, with Cannes offering TGV services toward Paris and connections along the Riviera.
