Benalmadena Villa

Benalmádena occupies a privileged stretch of the Costa del Sol between Torremolinos and Fuengirola, rising from a marina-lined seafront through residential hillsides to the historic white village of Benalmádena Pueblo at altitude. The municipality has long attracted an international ownership base drawn by its combination of reliable sunshine, sea views across to the African coastline on clear days, and proximity to Málaga without the density of the city itself. The hillside urbanizations above the coast offer a noticeably quieter register than the resort strip below.

The El Higuerón commercial and leisure complex is the primary hub for upscale dining and fitness in the area, anchored by the Hotel Higuerón and its amenities. Puerto Marina offers waterfront restaurants and a working yacht harbour. Benalmádena Pueblo retains a small selection of traditional restaurants and a weekly market. The Tivoli World site and the Selwo Marina park are local landmarks.

Málaga Airport (AGP) is approximately 12 to 15 minutes by car, one of the best-connected regional airports in southern Europe with direct routes to most major European cities and beyond. The A-7 coastal motorway and AP-7 toll road provide fast access to Málaga city centre in around 20 minutes and to Marbella in roughly 30 minutes. Málaga María Zambrano station offers high-speed AVE rail connections to Madrid in under two and a half hours.
