Benahavis is one of the most sought-after municipalities on the Costa del Sol, occupying a privileged position in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves between Marbella and Estepona. The village itself is a well-preserved Andalusian white village known for its concentration of high-quality restaurants and its distinctly unhurried character, while the surrounding municipality encompasses some of the most exclusive residential addresses on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, including La Zagaleta, El Paraiso Alto, and Los Flamingos.

The village centre on Calle Andalucia offers a strong restaurant scene, with El Cortijo and Los Abanicos among the established names. Puerto Banus is approximately 15 minutes by car, Marbella’s old town around 20 minutes, and Estepona around 25 minutes. The Atalaya and Los Flamingos golf courses are within a few minutes’ drive.

Malaga Airport is approximately 55 to 65 minutes by car via the AP-7 toll motorway, providing direct connections to most major European cities and seasonal routes beyond. Gibraltar Airport, around 45 minutes to the west, offers an additional option for private aviation and select commercial routes. The AP-7 and A-7 coastal roads connect Benahavis directly to the broader Costa del Sol corridor, and Marbella’s bus and taxi infrastructure serves the area for those without a vehicle.
