Benahavís Villa

Benahavís is one of the most sought-after addresses on the Costa del Sol, a small Andalusian municipality set in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves, roughly seven kilometres inland from the coast. It has built a reputation over decades as the preferred location for high-end residential development in the region, combining dramatic mountain scenery with proximity to Marbella and Puerto Banús. The village itself retains a genuine Andalusian character, with whitewashed streets and a concentration of well-regarded restaurants that draw visitors from across the coast.

The village centre is known locally for its restaurant strip, with El Cortijo de Pepe and Los Abanicos among the established names. Marbella’s Golden Mile and Puerto Banús marina are a 15-minute drive. La Quinta Golf and several other courses are within five minutes. Daily shopping is handled in San Pedro de Alcántara, approximately ten minutes by car.

Málaga Airport is approximately 55 kilometres from Benahavís, typically a 45-minute drive via the AP-7 toll motorway. Gibraltar Airport is around 75 kilometres to the west, offering an alternative gateway for private aviation. Marbella, the nearest major town, is roughly 20 minutes by car. There is no rail connection to Benahavís directly; the nearest train station is in Fuengirola, connecting to Málaga city centre in under 30 minutes.
