In Restelo, the streets are wide and tree-lined, the houses have gardens, and there is almost no through traffic. It is a residential neighborhood just minutes from downtown Lisbon, situated between Monsanto Forest Park and the Belém waterfront, where the Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, and Belém Cultural Center are located. Several embassies and international schools are nearby, giving the area a cosmopolitan and peaceful atmosphere.
This house was built in the 1960s and retains the modernist architectural style of that era. The renovation preserved this identity while adding modern comforts: new kitchen and bathrooms, built-in floor-to-ceiling closets (SILVAS), a walk-in closet, air conditioning, and aluminum window frames. Several original details were restored, including solid wood shutters with hammered glass, built-in bookshelf cabinets, skylights, and transoms.
The house has three floors. On the entrance floor is the living room, measuring 38.5 m², next to the kitchen. The first floor has four bedrooms, one of which is en suite, all with balconies. The basement includes a garage for two cars and storage space. The terrace, measuring 64 m², offers river views. The private garden is 281 m², and the 370 m² lot has enough space for a pool without compromising garage access.
