Vilafranca de Bonany is a small agricultural town in the interior of Mallorca, set among the flat, fertile plains of the Pla region. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections during the summer season. There is no direct rail link to the town, making a private vehicle essential for daily life in this location.
