Antibes occupies a singular position on the Côte d’Azur, sitting between Cannes and Nice on a peninsula that has drawn artists, writers, and wealthy residents for well over a century. The old town, enclosed by Vauban ramparts that drop directly to the sea, retains a working authenticity rare on this stretch of coast. Cap d’Antibes, the pine-covered headland extending south from the town, is among the most prestigious residential addresses in France, known for its large private estates, discreet security, and uninterrupted Mediterranean frontage.

Daily life on Cap d’Antibes centres on the market at Cours Masséna in the old town, a short drive north. Restaurant Le Bacon on the Cap itself is a long-established reference for seafood. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres from Antibes, reachable in around 25 minutes by car. Antibes train station connects directly to Nice in roughly 30 minutes and to Cannes in under 15 minutes, with frequent TGV services linking the region to Paris in around five and a half hours. The A8 motorway provides straightforward road access along the entire Riviera corridor.
