Ridgeway Scheune, Aldworth

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, and surrounded by unspoilt downland countryside, Ridgeway Barn is a rare example of a sympathetically restored barn set in just under 1.89 acres.
Ridgeway Barn sits quietly on the edge of Aldworth, enjoying far-reaching views across the Berkshire Downs. Once an agricultural building, it has been carefully converted into a well-proportioned and characterful family home. The interiors retain much of the original charm; vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers, and generous windows that make the most of the surrounding landscape. The layout is practical and considered, with a natural flow between living spaces. Outside, the grounds are informal and gently blend into the open countryside beyond, with immediate access onto the Ridgeway path. It’s a peaceful and private setting on the fringe of a small, well-regarded village, ideal for those looking to enjoy a rural lifestyle without feeling isolated.
