Introducing this extremely collectible 1980 Porsche 911SC Weissach Edition Custom Race Car / Track Car, a one-year-only special edition produced under Porsche option code M439. Only 408 examples were produced for the U. S. market, with production split between Black Metallic and Platinum Metallic. The Weissach Edition was created as a tribute to Porsche’s motorsport and development operations at Weissach and featured special equipment intended to give the standard 911SC a more performance-oriented character.

Equipped with a correct-year 3.0-liter flat-six engine paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle, along with four-wheel disc brakes and VDO instrumentation. The exterior has been fitted with a custom lightweight front bumper, front strut tower brace, and a rear whale-tail spoiler.

The track-focused interior includes a black Corbeau racing driver seat with a multi-point harness, a red Corbeau passenger seat with Sabelt harness, and a padded full roll cage with door bars. A three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel adds to the competition-oriented setup.
