An exceptional example of Porsche’s iconic 356 A Speedster, featuring original Reutter coachwork, documented matching-numbers drivetrain, and a concours-winning restoration. Completed on May 15, 1957, chassis 83352 was delivered new through Auto-Germa in Bologna, Italy, establishing an intriguing European provenance for one of Porsche’s most celebrated early sports cars.

Presented in elegant Glacier White, a pale green special-order Porsche color of the period, this Speedster features a beautifully contrasting green leatherette interior, tan carpeting, and classic chrome detailing. Its unmistakable low windshield, minimalist cockpit, and lightweight construction embody the original Speedster philosophy. Power comes from a 1.6-liter air-cooled flat-four producing 60 horsepower, paired with a four-speed manual transmission.

Following more than four decades of reported long-term ownership, the car underwent an extensive, multi-year, bare-metal restoration completed in August 2024. The quality of its craftsmanship was recognized with First in Class honors at the 2025 La Jolla Concours d’Elegance. Subsequently presented at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction in August 2025, this Speedster retains its matching-numbers engine and gearbox, with factory Kardex documentation and restoration records noted in its auction history.
