1974 MG B Convertible

Well, here is a rare piece..... Just kidding, these cars are literally everywhere with almost 21,000 being sold in 1974 alone. Sales were strong, in fact much stronger than the cars themselves as they saw numerous issues with drivability and electrical issues. You know the saying ”If it aint broke, don’t fix it”? Well, in English car terms it means if ”Its Broke, don’t fix it”. All joking aside, the following on these MGB’s is strong and there are many work arounds now when it comes to some of the issues, parts availability is also very strong around the world. 74 ½ was a pivotal year, an unfortunate one for all manufacturers, not just MG. The US would roll out safety standards like height of the car and impact bumpers, so raising the cars, getting rid of the steering stabilizer and adding rubber pads was a thing. This particular MG has been in the same family for many years and has a rust free body with some rust on the underside but the pans look good as it appears the car was rust proofed at some point with some peeling. the car comes with a tonneau and convertible top.
