Monterey two door hard top for consideration. The car

here was purchased new on April 10, 1964 from O’keefe

Motor Company, inc. of Kalamazoo MI. The car came

dressed in Polar White exterior paint over black standard

interior. Power comes from its 390 V8 engine, 3 speed

manual transmission and rear wheel drive. Highlights

include: front bench seat, AM radio, clock, 120mph

speedometer, 3 spoke steering wheel with chrome horn

ring, gauge package, fender skirts, tissue dispenser, etc.

The car remains in the hands of the original owner and

has been brought to us on consignment. It is highly

original and has been driven just 83876 miles since new.

The car has never been used in the winter and retains an

amazing original structure throughout. The exterior has

received one professional repaint and retains its original

chrome and trim. Every aspect of the exterior to include

fitment, paint quality and brightwork stands tall and

gives the car an impressive presentation. The interior is

equally impressive and retains much originality. The vinyl

seat upholstery is free from cracks and splits, the dash

pad is excellent, the dash facia and gauges show

excellent original and the carpet is excellent. Under the

hood lies the 390 V8 engine that is in fantastic running

condition, the engine area is tidy and shows well.

What an outstanding presentation of big iron American

performance. Mercury, a subsidiary of Ford, is known for

its high trim levels, but also known for its performance as

the Marauder was the reigning Pike’s Peak Challenge

champion for that year. A car of this quality and with
