The black exterior keeps the build understated, while black steel wheels, chrome hubcaps, exposed front suspension, and large round headlights preserve its period-inspired appearance. Inside, the cabin combines blue and gray upholstery with wood-finished trim, an original 1940 Ford dashboard, and the original-style 1932 Ford steering wheel.
Power comes from a freshly built 351 Cleveland 4V V8 fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor, Offenhauser intake, Sanderson headers, and dual Flowmaster exhaust. A C4 automatic with a shift kit and Lokar shifter sends power to a Ford 8.8 rear end with positraction. The chassis also incorporates a Superbell dropped front axle, custom steering, and a rear anti-sway bar, blending traditional hot-rod styling with a number of updated mechanical components.
