This 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe is a beautifully presented example of Ford’s iconic first-generation pony car, finished in its factory-correct Arcadian Blue exterior over a Parchment interior. The light blue paint pairs exceptionally well with the contrasting interior, giving the Mustang a clean, classic appearance. Chrome bumpers, bright exterior trim, Mustang badging, and 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires complete the look. According to the accompanying Deluxe Marti Report, this Mustang is one of just seven produced with its specific paint and trim combination, making it a particularly uncommon example.
Under the hood is a 289ci V8 rated at 200 horsepower from the factory, paired with a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a 2.79 rear axle. The engine was rebuilt by Diamond Engineering, with a documented receipt totaling $3,955.40. Additional equipment includes power steering, an AM/FM bluetooth radio made to look like the original, and Ford’s Interior Decor Group. The 289 V8 and automatic transmission provide a classic Mustang driving experience, while the power steering adds convenience for cruising and everyday maneuverability.
This Mustang has undergone a ground-up restoration that included extensive attention to the body, interior, and mechanical components. According to the previous owner, the car was largely rust-free prior to restoration, with one floor pan replaced and a few minor areas of rust addressed. The interior was refreshed with new dashboard components, brightwork, door panels, door handles, and window cranks. The Parchment Vinyl Luxury Bucket Seats feature horizontal pleated inserts, chrome accents, and distinctive trim associated with Ford’s Interior Decor Group. A matching rear bench seat, light-colored headliner, and contrasting black carpeting complete the cabin. The matching door panels, classic three-spoke steering wheel, and factory-style instrumentation further complement the Arcadian Blue exterior while retaining the character of the original 1967 design.
Accompanying the vehicle is a Deluxe Marti Report documenting its original factory specifications and production history. The report confirms that this Mustang was originally ordered in Arcadian Blue with Parchment Vinyl Luxury Bucket Seats, a 289-2V V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, power steering, Interior Decor Group, and wire wheel covers. It was built on March 14, 1967, one day behind its scheduled production date, and was originally delivered through Hoffman Ford Motors Inc. in Beacon, New York. The report further documents the rarity of its original color combination, with only seven examples produced in this configuration.
With its desirable factory color combination, documented production history, rebuilt 289 V8, and extensive restoration work, this 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe offers an appealing combination of originality, presentation, and classic American styling. Whether enjoyed as a weekend cruiser, taken to local car shows, or added to a collection, this Arcadian Blue Mustang represents an attractive example of one of Ford’s most recognizable designs.
