Powering this time capsule is a modern LS1V8 motor backed by a 4L60E overdrive transmission. This all steel coupe has had a frame off restoration. Upgrades include; Vintage Air, leather interior, Heidt’s front end with independent suspension, 9” Ford rear end with a 4 link set up and coil over shocks at all 4 corners. Extra features include keyless door remote that operates the door ”popper’s” and the windows. A Kenwood stereo keeps the tunes going while you’re rolling down the road in your red steel coupe. In 1939 Ford’s look was once again modernized. The Deluxe now used a low pointed grille with heavier vertical slats, while the standard Ford had a higher grille with horizontal dividers. The headlights were moved farther apart, now sitting almost in front of the wheels. The side grilles and louvers were removed in favor of chrome strips on the Deluxe models. The ”alligator” hood opened deep from the top of the grille back, eliminating the side panels found on previous models.
