Cruising locations Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia (Anambas Islands). Other locations in SE Asia upon request. Locations from November - April/May: Phuket, Thailand and Langkawi, Malaysia, including Phuket ’hot spots’ such as Phuket west coast, the Similan Islands and Surin, Krabi, Phi Phi, Racha Island and the quieter islands south of Phuket such as Lanta, Tarutao National Park, Lipe, Adang, Rawi. Cruising locations from May/June 2023 - October 2023: Phuket, Thailand and Langkawi, Malaysia. OR Anambas Islands, Indonesia (minimum 10-day charter). The Anambas Islands are a remote, pristine region with super clear waters and beautiful corals and marine life. It is rare to encounter other yachts and resorts are few. Embarkation in Singapore, the Anambas or Batam (Indonesia, reached via Indonesian international flight hub, Jakarta). Customs and immigration procedures are followed by an overnight passage to the Anambas Islands (from Batam approx. 140 nm). Return flights, directly from Anambas to Batam (Indonesia) are available. Anambas Islands Airport (IATA: MWK, ICAO: WIOM), also known as Matak Airport, is a small airport with domestic flights only. In March 2020 there were 2 domestic flights from Anambas Islands MWK, to Batam (BTH) and Tanjung Pinang (TNJ). XpressAir is the only airline flying non-stop from Anambas Islands to Batam. Please check current flight schedules as many flights have been cancelled since Covid. As the saying goes: A difficult, long road often leads to the most beautiful destinations!
