Dammuso Grande was declared a monument by the Italian Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and Landscape. The property provides a beautiful and significant testimony of the dry-stone architecture of the Mediterranean area. Surrounded by trees and flowers typical of the Pantelleria island, this dammuso dominates the surrounding area with its mighty walls and its soft domes.

This property is divided into two dammuso,the traditional and historical house of on the Island of Pantelleria. The estate features a comfortable outdoor lounge area around the pool area where guests can unwind under the pergola, comfortable lounge chairs which overlook the garden of hibiscus, and a large pool, tiled with majolica. The patios and the gardens preserve pieces retained from the ancient farming traditions of the estate, blending the structure’s past with the present.

Antique and modern furniture and light sculptures of contemporary art, decorate large halls and small intimate alcoves. The estate, with its elegant and welcoming decor, can host up to eight guests. It features two separate buildings (dammusi). The first building consists of common areas, including the welcoming living room, the dining room with a table that seats 12, a reading alcove, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The other dammuso features the living quarters, consisting of four double bedrooms, all furnished with antique furniture and ceiling fans.
