The large villa is surrounded by beautiful greenery and a garden designed by Maurice Blondel that overlooks the stunning Borromeo Gulf and the lovely lake village of Baveno. The villa was built in the 17th century during the Spanish occupation. Villa Maggiore has a combination of modern Italian designed furniture and authentic Andalusian aristocrat style furnishings.

Villa Maggiore hosts up to 16 guests. The villa together with its dependance have 8 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has all the comforts to host an elegant dinner or a lovely brunch at the alfresco dining area. The fireplaces create a romantic atmosphere in every living area.

There is a marvelous view from the swimming pool over 4 different gardens - formal Italian, an English rose garden, fruit garden and a unique Japanese garden.

Villa Maggiore is the ideal place to take a break and just enjoy the wonderful Italian nature, culture and cuisine. Those who like golf can find two different courses close by the estate.
