Unlike Méribel, Megève has a different vibe, as we encounter fewer DJ parties and more top-notch jazz clubs and the annual Megève International Jazz Festival which runs from the last week of March to the first week of April. Megève itself, in contrast with other typically touristy Alpine villages in France, boasts the warm idyllic charm of a medieval town.
