1-bedroom apartment in Pinzolo, South Tyrol, Italy

Fancy jetting off for the festive period to a snowy wonderland or a sun-drenched retreat? Each year, data research and consulting company Wingx compiles a list of Christmas hotspots – the busiest private jet destinations over the winter break.

A useful indicator of where the affluent prefer to spend the holidays (and may well own a second home), the most active routes over Christmas usually ranges from Mexico, Brazil and Costa Rica to exotic Caribbean locations such as Turks and Caicos, Saint Martin, Antigua and Barbuda, and the Bahamas.
