Historic Property In Vejer De La Frontera, Cádiz

The property is housed inside the Castle of Vejer de la Frontera, located in the highest part of the Historic-Artistic Site, on the base of an Arab fortress from the 10th and 11th centuries at the time of Abderramán.
Access to the castle, through a horseshoe gate framed by an alfiz, a vestige of Arab origin that still remains from the 11th century, leads to one of its two courtyards, the main one with an old cistern. From this courtyard we pass to the central building in the southern area, which was used as the residence of the Dukes of Medina Sidonia. This is where you will find our singular, unique and exclusive house, which was transformed around 1900 and later refurbished.
It is accessed via a wide staircase, and already from its entrance, in the form of a gallery with exposed wooden beams, you can see a large vaulted room overlooking the private interior garden of some 333m2: from there you can also see the battlements, from which you can enjoy incredible views of the city, the countryside and the sea in the distance.
