Llucmajor is the largest municipality by land area in Mallorca, occupying a broad sweep of the island’s southern interior and coastline. The town itself retains a distinctly local character, with a traditional market square, Gothic church, and a pace of life largely untouched by mass tourism. Palma de Mallorca Airport is roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car from the southern coastal areas of the municipality, making this one of the most airport-convenient locations on the island. Palma city centre is reachable in around 25 to 30 minutes by road. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with additional connections through Madrid and Barcelona to global destinations.
