History:
Built in 1818 for Jean-Claude de Champreux, Marquis d’Altenbourg, Château de Roquefoulet is a Palladian residence inspired by the great Italian villas. Its architecture, defined by harmonious proportions, symmetrical façades and an abundance of natural light, represents a distinctive example of the architectural heritage of the Lauragais.

Partially listed as a Historic Monument, the château retains many of its original architectural features and decorative elements.

Between 2015 and 2020, Roquefoulet underwent a complete restoration, carried out with the involvement of heritage architects, master craftsmen and specialist companies. The guiding principle was to preserve the character and elegance of the residence while introducing the standards of comfort expected today.

Location:
Set in the heart of the Lauragais, the property is located less than 30 minutes from the historic centre of Toulouse, with shops and everyday amenities just a few minutes away.

Nearby, Lake Thésauque and its leisure facilities also provide access to a range of outdoor and water-based activities.
